“Insect on leaf” brooch. 19th century Austrian piece in 18kt – 750 ‰ gold and silver, with naturalistic decoration. It depicts an insect enamelled in vibrant tones, adorned with rubies and diamonds, resting on leaves also set with rose-cut diamonds. An exquisite example of Viennese jewellery of the period.
